THE FOOD FLIRTS ONE OF THREE NOMINATED FOR JAMES BEARD AWARD FOR BEST TELEVISON SHOW, ON LOCATION!
The Brass Sisters aka The Food Flirts are honored to be selected as one of three nominees for a James Beard Foundation Award for "The best Television Program, on Location."
Our PBS series, which airs nationally, explores and celebrates the multi-ethnic diversity of American cuisine and culture. Whether it's learning to cure pastrami or to make Indian dosa, or solving the intricacies of making a Tres Leches Cake, we believe that it's not just what you put on the table, but what you bring to the table.
This is our second James Beard Foundation Award Nomination. Our first cookbook, Heirloom Baking With The Brass Sisters, was nominated for an award in the Baking and Dessert category. Heirloom Baking later went on to be selected for Food & Wine Magazine's "The Best of the Best 25 Cookbooks of the Year."
Thank you all for your encouragement and support. It is an honor to be nominated!
